Just how dumb are the the British public? By all accounts has-been "pop star" Peter Andre is set to grab the top slot in the pop charts ... WHY??? It really does show that any talentless arsehole can become a success provided they cen leech off of the success of a bird with big tits.

For God's sake, Andre even has a greatest hits album out, only problem is, no-one seems to be able to remember any of his hits with the exception of Mysterious Girl. A quick check of Google shows he had a handful of hit records including the "highly memorable" Flava - and I'm sure we can all remember the words to that one ...

Ah well, I guess it's all down to the yoof of today to dictate what's popular and what's not. I can only thank Christ I have nothing to do with it...

It never ceases to strike me as odd how here in Britain we fall over ourselves to try and please all of the people all of the time, whilst in countries like Botswana they take a more direct approach to dealing with folks ...

People should use trees to commit suicide instead of trains
People with suicidal tendencies in Botswana have been asked to throw themselves out of trees instead of in front of trains.

The country's Minister for Works and Transport, Tebelelo Seretse, has advised people to use trees instead.

She made the plea in a newspaper based in the capital Gaborone.

"I am appealing to the people not to use the trains to kill themselves. If people want to commit suicide they should use trees not our trains," she said.

"I am sick of these people who throw themselves in front of the trains. The drivers are people - why turn them into murderers?"

She has offered counselling to drivers who have to dealt with suicides, says the South African Broadcasting Corporation.
