It must be hell in Guantanamo Bay

For years the UK and US press has been filled with horror stories about what happens at Guantanamo Bay. By all accounts it's a "hell-hole", a "place where people go to disappear" and "unfit for human habitation". Strong words indeed.

However, the words lose a little shine when you check the transcripts of the hearing of Pakistani man Majid Khan who has variously claimed he has been tortured and that his family have been victimised by the US Government.

Khan claimed he was the victim of mental torture because:

* Forced to use unscented deodorants
* Made to play sports with a ball that didn't bounce
* Was refused the right to have a DVD player
* The people who cleaned his cell left marks on the walls

Dunno about you, but I'm not seeing a "living hell" around here anywhere...

I even heard they gave him an XBOX 360 instead of a Nintendo Wii, these guys are monsters, really.
