In mid-2006 I posted an entry about an American news story which stated US gangs were using the Net to communicate with one another. Last week I received a message from the site's owner asking me to remove the link from the posting as, apparently, the article was untrue.
Fair enough. But ...
In writing my original post, I poked fun at the web design abilities of the site owner "King Cricket". The site was abysmally amateur and not something you'd expect to see of a professional. His latest missive states:
"And for your comment - 'if his gangbanging is anything like his web design he’ll be dead in five minutes….' Go fuck yourself, if you knew how to read you would of not put that comment."
I submit into evidence the site of the time (thank you wayback machine!) and stand by my comments.
I was (at the start of his message) more than willing to remove the post which was meant as an irreverent comment on the original news story. However, as I'm sure many people have discovered, "Go Fuck Yourself" is no substitute for "Thank You" so I've decided not to.
Sometimes, I love to be petulant :)
