A Random Collection of Unconnected Words

So, Glastonbury Festival has been and gone, the tent thieves have dispersed across the country and the Pikeys have stopped selling drugs to da kids and gone back to the business of buggering up people's driveways with cheap tarmac.

This year saw a departure for Glasto with "top" rapper Jay-Z headlining the main stage - a controversial decision for many.

However, I do believe the following quotes from "top" UK Hip-Hop DJ Tim Westwood clears up the situation:

"Before Jay-Z headlined Glastonbury on Friday night, I spoke to him for Radio 1 and 1Xtra. Jay was like a boxer with that glint in his eye. He was focused and relaxed, he was confident and his swagger juice was dripping.

"But it's all good. Jay would have hit that stage a little softer if he wasn't energised by the fightdown [pre-gig name-calling with Britain's greatest monobrow owner Noel Gallagher]. Us guys in this game, we thrive on that, it gives us a new energy. When you've come from the bottom up, that sort of fightdown just gets you focused and in the right place."

So there you go, the world has been put to rights by a 51-year old, middle class, well-off Church of England Bishop's son who's as white as an albino but thinks he's black, which begs the question, when he refers to "us guys" coming from the "bottom up" is he really talking about himself - after all, how many Bishop's sons live on council estates and have to get by on the social - not many that's for sure, especially if they're spilling swagger juice all over the place (what the hell is swagger juice???).

To sum in words he's sure to understand: Tim Westwood, you is a twat, innit?
