While lazing in bed this morning, wishing the office would magically disappear into a rift in the space-time continuum, I watched the news on the BBC, which featured an interview with celebrity gay Anglican Bishop Gene Robinson.The Bishop was chatting about a service he gave in Putney yesterday during which, a protester with a motorcycle helmet heckled him from the pews, branding him a heretic.
Bishop Robinson said the whole affair was quite frightening, particularly in light of the fact that he'd received death threats prior to his UK visit.
He told the interviewer: "I had no idea what he had in his helmet..."
Part of me is telling me the rest of me not to smirk, but the rest of me is taking no notice ...
